Hiring Armed Security Guards – Retired Law Enforcement WATCH GUARD 24/7, a Sunstates Security company.

WATCH GUARD 24/7 is the fastest-growing security provider in the New York area, and we're expanding our elite Private School Division. We are actively seeking retired law enforcement professionals with:

• A valid Armed Security Guard License (NY)

• An Unrestricted Carry Permit

Location: Upper East Side/New York- NY

Pay $37.50 per hour

Officer's responsibilities will generally include, but not be limited to:

• Serving predominantly as front entrance security presence and maintaining high visibility
• Reporting any facility issues
• Patrolling and monitoring school indoor and outdoor facilities to ensure the safety and well-being of students and staff and the security of the facility
• Adhering that all visitors are screened before entering the building
• Notifying of any emergency, potentially dangerous, or unusual situations 
• Adhering to Client policies, procedures, and rules
• Performing any duties and responsibilities that are within the scope of employment, as assigned by their supervisor, and not otherwise prohibited by law or regulation
• Must be able to stand for long period of time. 

• Retired NYPD/CORRECTIONS law enforcement.
• Armed security guard license
• Unrestricted carry.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and operate as a team alongside other law enforcement security professionals.
• Must be able to drug test for employment.
